Art & Photos
"Art"
Part of the fun of Migraine has been Photoshopping all the artwork for the CD cover, t-shirts, and E-vites. A definite style evolved over time. Victor or Peter's sister Anna use mechnical pencils to draw artwork on paper which is then scanned in and traced in Photoshop using paths. The paths have much more character when they outline the pencil strokes. These paths are then filled with solid colors or gradients, leaving just an outline. The paths are also used to make selections of the inner areas, which are filled with solid colors with blending properties applied; usually gradient and pattern overlay.

Our original mascot was Nigel the turd flinging monkey. But he wasn't quite as much fun as having Gojira on a t-shirt, especially when Peter went to Tokyo and rocked out in every guitar shop he could find. Look closely at the well worn guitar with pink knobs. Godzilla is a shredder.

David Hasselhoff, Johnny 5, a big pink Marshall stack, what else but the invite for the Migraine CD release party?

Looks like Migraine got billed to open for Slayer in Barcelona. Too bad no one told us. If you're one of our long lost brothers, rockin' out in Spain, drop us a line!

Here's some photos from the CD release party itself. We started a bit late and it got chilly... and there was homebrew... so it didn't quite sound like we had rehearsed. Luckily, there was homebrew.

It is essential that you wear snakeskin to convey the metalness to the audience. Bright pink volume knobs help too.
